What’s been happening:

After graduating from PSU, life became an interesting career adventure spanning 34 years of world travel in federal civil service working in six different countries as a master planner, construction programmer, design and construction project manager, and facilities manager. During that period I also had some educational accomplishments including being a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute, the Gallup Leadership Institute and the US Army Corps of Engineers Executive Development Program; I became a registered professional engineer. In 1996, as an executive with the Corps of Engineers in Atlanta where I was the director of Military Programs, managing an annual program of 1500 project in the Southeast US, Central & South America, Europe and the Middle East, I retired from federal service, but not work. Since then I was the vice president for program management and design of a large architect-engineer firm, a county capital program manager and general manager of quality for a Fortune 500 design and construction firm with projects worldwide, a position I have continued to hold since 2001. In my spare time I was an award-winning photographer, a home designer, an appreciative patron of the arts, and a member of the board of directors of the Public Arts Academy in Williamsport, PA. Now I live in Coastal North Carolina enjoying golf, fishing, the beach and grandkids.
